COLDPLAY ended months of speculation to confirm they will be among the headliners at Glastonbury Festival this summer.
The band had been widely tipped to top the bill, and have now announced they will play the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, June 25. Coldplay last played the event in 2005, but have often talked since about their affinity for the event.
Last week, Beyoncé revealed she was to be one of the main stars at the weekend festival, which is staged in Somerset.
