Artists re-imagine some of the World’s most famous paintings using new technology

SOME of the world’s most famous paintings have been re-imagined by a string of artists using new technology.

Vincent Van Gogh’s The Starry Night has been turned into an interactive picture by a group of five London-based designers, called Midnight Toastie.

The re-mastered version includes a constellation of electronic lights which can only be seen if the viewer stands in a certain place.

Van Gogh painted The Starry Night while in an asylum in 1889, and it is now on show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Other works in the show include new takes on Edvard Munch’s The Scream and Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
