LIVERPOOL Daily Post City Editor David Bartlett was named Property Press Journalist of the Year.
David beat competition from four other regional journalists at the LSL Property Press Awards.
He was given the prize at a glittering ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London’s Knightsbridge district on Monday.
The judges awarded David’s work in reporting how Peel Holdings were forced to scale down its multi-billion pound Liverpool Waters by English Heritage.
His report on defects found in the facade of the Malmaison Hotel, leading to it needing replacing after two years, and an update on an abandoned scheme in the Baltic Triangle were also recognised.
Daily Post editor Mark Thomas said: “We are delighted David’s dedication and strong reporting skills were recognised at the highest level once again.”
