A LIVERPOOL dance group performed for Prince William and Kate Middleton on their last public engagement before the Royal Wedding.
MD Productions, who appeared on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, gave a special performance during the Royal couple’s visit to Darwen, in Lancashire, yesterday.
A group of 15 dancers from the company joined 30 students from Darwen Aldridge Community Academy and danced to a medley of Michael Jackson hits.
Miguel Doforo, managing director and choreographer, said: “It was absolutely brilliant.
“William and Kate were singing along and they came over and met all the cast.”
Mr Dofor was asked to join Prince William’s education charity SkillForce after taking part in a debate on entrepeneurship at Windsor Castle.
The dance group, based at the Old Fire Station, Old Swan, was started in 2001 and offers young people classes in performing arts.
They reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2007 and 2009.
