Korova fire
A POPULAR Liverpool nightspot, which was destroyed in an arson attack, is to re-open more than a year later.
Korova was forced to close after its Hope Street premises were torched in April last year.
Liverpool Investment Solutions, the landlord of the three-storey building, are around six months away from being able to relaunch the venue.
But when the venue does reopen for business again, it will not be as Korova.
The former bar was a brand of Liverpool nightclub supremo Rob Gutmann, who was recently declared bankrupt.
Liverpool Investment Solutions said the ground floor of 32 Hope Street will instead become a shop, while the basement will be a bar and restaurant.
An operator is currently being sought for the bar.
