MOTORISTS are being targeted for their gadgets, a Merseyside policeman warned.
Drivers in Wirral’s affluent areas, including Hoylake, West Kirby and Thurstaston Country Park have become victims of car crime, with thieves snatching sat-navs and handbags.
Inspector Mick Blease said: "Opportunist thieves have broken into cars after seeing valuable items left on display, so we would like to remind people not to leave items in view in their cars.”
