Claire Sweeney gets a 40th birthday cake
LIVERPOOL actress Claire Sweeney celebrated turning 40 after belting out a string of show-stopping numbers in the one woman show, Tell Me On A Sunday.
She was joined backstage by her family, who congratulated Claire on her performance. Theatre manager Stephen Rees presented her with a huge birthday cake on behalf of the production team, and radio presenter Pete Price dropped in to the dressing room to join the party.
Afterwards, she headed to the Atrium to carry on the night. In the run-up to the show, she said: “Being in Liverpool for my birthday week couldn’t have worked out better.
“I get to share it with a home audience.”
