POLICE arrested a 36-year-old man following a stabbing at a house in Merseyside.
The victim, also thought to be in his 30s, was found with facial injuries and stab wounds to his right thigh. Emergency services were called to the house in Waddicar Lane, Melling, at 9.30am yesterday. He was taken to hospital, where his condition was last night described as stable.
The man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
