CITY regeneration officials have unveiled a 12-point plan designed to breath new life and stop “the continued decline” of north Liverpool.
The ambitious 20- year blueprint has been released by a taskforce headed by Liverpool council and supported by heavyweights including Sefton council and The Homes and Communities Agency – the national housing and regeneration agency.
The main goal of the taskforce is to tap into existing assets.
And the taskforce has listed 12 key schemes at the heart of its plans.
They include regenerating disused dockland, expanding Liverpool’s port,
The expansion of Liverpool and Everton’s football stadiums as “a major driver” for “tourism and leisure”.
The blueprint set to be approved by Liverpool council on June 3.
