A FIRE broke out at Kirkby’s Sonae plant last night.
Five or six fire crews were called to the scene of the blaze at 8pm last night and the Daily Post understands it started in the wood yard. Workers were evacuated to another part of the site
A site source said the fire started in a self-contained sawdust bin at the controversial Kirkby wood recycling plant.
There were no reports of injuries.
