Brazilica festival launches in Liverpool
A PARTY was held last night to launch the city’s Brazilica Festival.
Bem Brasil, on Hanover Street, in the city centre, was the setting for the evening of Latin fever, spirit and dancing to the samba beat.
The Brazilica samba Festival is set to take place in Liverpool from July 15 to July 17.
A spokesman for the event said: “Brazilica promises to be Liverpool’s most exciting, exotic and vibrant spectacle.
“A Rio-style Brazilian samba carnival exploding with life, music and dazzling costumes through the streets of the city centre.”
Last night’s fun was showcased by the Liverpool Carnival Company and Orb Events.
