MOST victims of crime do not believe the police are doing a good job.
Satisfaction and confidence in the justice system drops after people come into contact with crime, according to research by Victim Support.
The charity blamed failures on “years of neglect and misunderstanding” of victims’ needs.
Victims are nearly 20% less likely than non-victims to feel confident in the police.
Javed Khan, chief executive of the charity, called for reforms in the justice system.
