A WIRRAL business woman has been appointed a patron of the British Red Cross, in recognition of her work for the charity.
Ina Schmidt, director of marketing for European Partner Solutions, was awarded with the role after raising more than £80,000 for the organisation.
She said: “My family and I have always been dedicated supporters of the invaluable work of The Red Cross. I am honoured to be made Patron of the British Red Cross.”
Ina is currently organising the annual Red Cross Ball, which will take place on Saturday, November 12, at the Hillbark Hotel, Royden Park, Frankby Wirral.
