Dragon Boat race launched in Liverpool celebrates Chinese heritage
SCHOOLCHILDREN raced alongside each other in traditional Dragon Boats yesterday.
Pupils took part from nine schools across Merseyside, including Enterprise South Liverpool Academy, Bluecoat, De La Salle Academy, Holly Lodge Girls College, Broughton Hall High School, Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy, Litherland High School, St Edwards College, and St Julie’s Catholic College.
The event was held at Queens Dock, from 10am to 4pm.
