St Helens woman Heather Dyer may have been murdered after noise row

A ROW over noise at a house party may have led to the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old woman.

Heather Dyer, died in the early hours of Saturday morning after an attack neighbours described as “like a horror film”.

A 25-year-old man was also stabbed in a row neighbours said was caused by noise from a party at Heather’s flat on Chapel Street, St Helens. Amanda Jones, 38, who lives opposite the victim told how she watched a man run around the street wielding a knife while the injured man stumbled to her doorstep after being stabbed.

A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He was treated for minor injuries and taken to a police station for questioning.
