A 52-YEAR-OLD Wirral motorcyclist was in hospital last night after suffering serious injuries in a collision near Ledsham.
The man, from Wallasey, collided with a silver Renault Clio at around 3pm yesterday, at the Two Mills junction of the A550 Welsh Road and the A540 Parkgate Road.
The driver of the silver Clio, a 21-year-old woman, was also taken to Countess of Chester Hospital, but her injuries were not thought to be serious.
Emergency services attended the scene following the incident, which caused some traffic congestion.
The man’s condition was not thought to be life-threatening, but his injuries were described as serious.
He was riding a white Honda motorcycle.
