A 60-YEAR-OLD woman was chased from her home by a stranger who woke her in the middle of the night.
The man shouted at and threatened the woman, who fled her flat into Liverpool’s Hope Street and tried to hail a cab.
She managed to escape after a pedestrian stopped to argue with her pursuer.
The woman was admitted to the Royal Liverpool Hospital in the early hours of Saturday.
