VISITING restrictions at Arrowe Park Hospital on Wirral were lifted today, with immediate effect.
The only areas that remain out of bounds to visitors are Ward 21 and the Isolation Unit, with hospital chiefs reviewing the situation daily.
The restrictions were initially put in place last weekend, following the admission of patients subsequently found to be carrying the contagious vomiting bug, norovirus.
The hospital trust today thanked "patients and the public for their co-operation and support."
