A HOST of Merseyside celebrities have come out in support of Liverpool’s first marathon for twenty years
Previously announced runners including former Brookside actress Suzanne Collins and Olympic gold medal winning boxer Steve Smith will be joined by Big Brother winner Craig Phillips, from Seaforth,Footballers Wives actress Phina Oruche, from Toxteth, and racing driver Paul O’Neill, from Widnes.
They will join a field of 12,000 running on October 9, John Lennon’s birthday, but anyone who wants to take part will have to sign up by the end of today.
The race is expected to raise thousands for good causes and charity places will remain.
