BURGLARS stole sentimental family heirlooms from a house including jewellery belonging to the victim’s late husband.
The thieves targeted the home in Dibbinsdale Road, Bromborough, in the middle of the day.
They took the 42-year-old widow’s engagement ring, eternity rings and husband’s wedding ring.
Other sentimental jewellery, a Dell lap top, mobile phone and a handbag with cash were also taken.
The devastated woman said: “I cannot put into words how devastated I am.
“I lost my husband two years ago through cancer and it just feels that I have lost him all over again. All of the jewellery was important to me but my engagement ring, eternity ring and my husband's wedding ring are irreplaceable.” Call CID on 0151 777 2265.
