THE mother of James Bulger will today open a holiday home dedicated to the memory of her murdered son.
The setting-up of James Bulger House, at Ribby Hall Village, near Blackpool, comes six months after Denise Fergus, of Kirkby, launched a £50,000 fundraising drive to give breaks to deserving children.
Denise, 41, said: “I promised James after he was killed that I would always fight for justice and do my best to keep his memory alive. This is the only real, tangible memorial to James and we aim to carry on from here to do more good works in his name.”
