PEEL says the public has given its plans for an International Trade Centre in Wirral unanimous backing.
The company, which is behind the £4.5bn Wirral Waters plans, held a public exhibition at Birkenhead Market ahead of seeking planning consent for the scheme from Wirral Council.
And the developer said there was “a staggering 100% of people” in support of the proposals for its International Trade Centre (ITC) at Birkenhead Docks.
Questionnaires were completed by people with an age range of 18 to over 70.
It is expected the planning application for the ITC will be presented to Wirral’s planning committee in September. For more information on the Peel International Trade Centre, and to see the full results, log on to www.peelitc.co.uk
