Tributes to father killed in crash

A MERSEYSIDE man killed in a motorway crash had just started a new job as chef at a Lake District hotel.

Robert Davies, 26, from Formby, was travelling home to spend the weekend with his young son, Cameron.

A passing motorist raised the alarm after seeing his car in a field near junction three of the M58 at Bickerstaffe during the early hours.

His parents, Susan and Rob, and his family last night paid tribute to him.

They said: “Robert was a hard-working, determined, talented young chef with a promising career ahead of him who loved spending time with his family and friends.
