A MEMORIAL service to remember the atrocities of September 11 will be held at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral on Sunday.

The multi-faith service, called Think, Unite, Act, will be led by the Dean of Liverpool, Justin Welby.

Organised by human rights group Rights and Humanity, representatives from the seven main faiths will attend.

The Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, the South African anti-apartheid activist Hon Justice Albie Sachs and Sister Jayanti, of spiritualist group Brahma Kumaris, will read at the service.

Renowned songwriter Lucinda Drayton and award-winning Canadian soprano Stéphanie Lavoie will perform.

Guests are asked to be seated by 5.20pm for a 5.30pm start.
