Sixth arrest over Aigburth shooting of Iranian doorman Bahman ‘Batman’ Faraji

MURDER detectives have made a sixth arrest over the street shooting of a former Liverpool doorman.

Iranian Bahman Faraji, 44, known as “Batman”, was shot outside the Belgrave pub, in Aigburth, on February 24.

A 29-year-old, from Childwall, was arrested yesterday in connection with the death and questioned by police.

He was the sixth person arrested over Mr Faraji’s death.

Brian Regan, 53, who played Brookside’s Terry Sullivan, and three other men denied a charge of murder during a July hearing at Liverpool crown court.
