A HIGH-LEVEL delegation of Arab diplomats visited Liverpool to promote cultural links with the city and the international Arab community.
Senior diplomats – who attended from Arab countries including Libya and Iraq – learned about Liverpool as a place to invest and about its strong cultural links.
A VIP launch to meet the diplomats was held at the Palm House, in Sefton Park.
Neil Peterson, Liverpool Council’s international manager said: “We believe by coming here, it will encourage them to think very seriously about Liverpool as a place to send students and do business.”
