A YOUNG cyclist was taken to hospital after he was hit by a motorbike near a Merseyside school.
The accident happened in Whetstone Lane, Birkenhead, by Woodlands Primary, at 8.50am yesterday.
Police said the seven- year-old boy was conscious at the scene but was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital by ambulance. The road re-opened just before 10am yesterday.
