Wirral Bake Off contestant helps raise charity cash

A WIRRAL contestant from the hit show Great British Bake Off used her skills to help fundraisers.

Yasmin Limbert, who took part in BBC2’s cookery show, baked cakes for the Macmillan Coffee Morning held by Wirral Partnership Homes (WPH) to raise money for the Macmillan Appeal.

The event was attended by WPH staff and residents at the Bentinck Street Community Centre, in Birkenhead, as well as representatives from Wirral Community NHS Trust, who provided advice on health improvement.

Cake sales plus a raffle organised by staff raised around £200, and Yasmin said: “I was only too pleased to help WPH staff and their residents raise money for such a great cause.”
