Waiting over night for Paul MCartney tickets at the Echo Arena are brothers Luke and Josh Owens.
TWO brothers were among those camping outside the Echo Arena last night to be first in line for Sir Paul McCartney tickets.
Fans Luke and Josh Owens arrived at 10am yesterday to make sure they didn’t miss out on Sir Paul’s homecoming gig on Tuesday, December 20.
Tickets for the show, the finale to the 11-date On The Run tour, went on sale at 9am this morning.
Luke, from Aintree, last night said: “I could be in for a long night, but I don’t care.
“We’ve got everything we need, sleeping bags and warm clothes. I probably won’t sleep, but it doesn’t matter – it’s going to be like Christmas Eve, when you can’t wait for the morning to come.”
Luke, 24, who has a £700 Beatles tattoo on his back, said: “I saw him in Cardiff and it blew me away, he was amazing. But when I tried to get tickets for the Liverpool O2 Academy gig last year, they had already sold out.
“I’m going to make sure I don’t miss out this time – though our dad thinks we’re a bit crazy!”
Sir Paul’s On The Run tour begins in Abu Dhabi next month before taking in Russia and Europe, spanning Italy, Sweden, Finland, France and Germany before the tour finale at the Echo Arena.
