Dress made from leaves launches Cheshire Oaks autumn collection

Fall Fashion Arrives at McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks 1

A SPECTACULAR dress made from leaves went on display at the Cheshire Oaks designer outlet, near Ellesmere Port.

It was created by staff who gathered over 2,000 leaves from Delamere Forest, with an autumnal train reaching up to 60 metres in length.

The bespoke dress was created to mark the arrival of autumn and winter collections at the designer outlet retail park.

The new fashion collections are expected to attract over 1.8m shoppers, from up to a two- hour drive away, before Christmas.

Colin Wilding, general manager for McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks, said: “The North-west is renowned for being style-conscious and, with over 6,000 new lines this season, our designer collections are seeing strong sales uplift as shoppers seek out key investment pieces, but at a lower price.”

The retail park, just off the M53, is home to more than 145 designer and high street brands at discounted prices, including Mulberry, Nicole Farhi, and Armani.

It stocks more than 1,000 varieties of boots and shoes, and more than 1,050 winter coat styles.
