Chinese lanterns fill the sky in memory of Wirral teenager
AROUND 150 Chinese lanterns were lit last night in memory of a teenager killed in a car crash.
Friends, teachers and fellow students came together at Calday Grange Grammar School to pay their respects to 17-year-old Jonathan Brown.
The teenager, from Upton, Wirral, died last Thursday following the crash on Telegraph Road, near Heswall. Two of Jonathan’s closest friends, Josh Colton and Matthew Jones, organised the tribute.
Josh said: “Everyone has really come together for Jonny. “He always had a smile on his face and was always there for everyone.”
