Liverpool-made Moving On series celebrates third series with northern premiere at Liverpool Cathedral

STAR names were invited to attend a special screening of the new series of Liverpool-made daytime drama Moving On.

The BBC programme, was recommissioned for a third series and will be broadcast from Monday November 14.

Invited guests got a first look at one of the stories, which was written and directed by John Fay and stars Downton Abbey’s Rob James Collier.

Episode two, called The Milkman, was premiered to more than 300 guests including actor Shaun Mason at Liverpool Cathedral last night.

The five stand-alone films also feature well-known faces including Warren Brown, who is filming BBC drama Savage in Liverpool.

The series was produced by Colin McKeown who told the Daily Post the quality of the first two series helped to attract the cast for the third.
