A MERSEYSIDE law firm has launched a new academy to help law students secure their first job in the legal industry.
Duncan Gibbins Solicitors have created the DG Academy, which is designed to offer support and advice for individuals looking to pursue a career in law.
Daniel Taylor, operations manager at the law firm, decided to set up the academy website after receiving many applications when the firm advertised legal assistant vacancies earlier this year.
He said: “We could have filled our vacancies 10 times over. The legal jobs market is particularly competitive and we hope that the resources on our website will give people a helping hand whether they are applying for a job at Duncan Gibbins or another law firm.”
