BENEDICT Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller – the actors who took it in turns to play Frankenstein and his monster in Danny Boyle’s stage production – are going head-to-head in an award for best actor.
The pair, who appeared on the National Theatre stage together, have both been nominated for the 57th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, taking place later this month.
The actors are up against Bertie Carvel and Charles Edwards.
