THE Lord Mayor of Liverpool has welcomed the latest addition to the Liver Bird family – The Spirit of Liverpool – which will help raise funds for his charity appeal.
The bird has been selling on line for a few months with £10 from every sale going to local charities. Now it is on sale exclusively at the Visitor Information Centre, Albert Dock.
The Spirit of Liverpool has been created by sculptor Rick Myers, of Liver Birds Inc Ltd, and has already raised money for the Roy Castle Foundation and appeals run by the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo, BBC Radio Merseyside, Radio City and Juice FM.
