BRITAIN’S biggest Advent calendar is set to be unveiled today in Liverpool city centre.
The digital Advent calendar, measuring 26ft high and 59ft wide, will be projected on to St John’s Shopping Centre, with the big switch-on at 4pm today.
Each window of the calendar will open to reveal details about a different Christmas highlight of Liverpool, including all the major pantomimes, the Christmas market, and the new Museum of Liverpool.
The calendar, which has an Alice in Wonderland theme, has been commissioned by City Central BID. It is estimated that 500,000 people will see it.
