Royal Mail workers at Crosby Delivery Office stage unofficial strike

POSTAL workers in Crosby walked out on strike on Saturday.

Forty-five staff at Crosby Delivery Office, in Waterloo, staged the unofficial industrial action.

The Royal Mail was unable to comment on reports the strike was sparked by dispute between a manager and a member of staff who is facing disciplinary action. A spokesman said: “We apologise for the disruption to deliveries. We expect full normal service to resume on Monday.”
