TWO Merseyside schoolgirls have landed roles in a major BBC drama series.
Chloe Thomson, of Clubmoor, was just six when she auditioned for a top part in Liverpool screenwriter Stephen Butchard’s Savage.
Fazakerley teenager Lauren McQueen also impressed to win a guest role, and filmed scenes with Luther star Warren Brown.
Ex-Hollyoaks actor Brown plays a Liverpool officer who witnesses the murder of his best friend.
Sylvie Gatrill, who runs Allstars Casting, in Liverpool’s Hope Street, where the girls attend drama classes, said: “It is such a positive thing for young actresses in the current climate.”
