LIVERPOOL'S Alder Hey hospital is set to welcome Kate Middleton for a Valentines Day welcome.
Hospital bosses today expressed their delight after a visit from the Duchess of Cambridge was confirmed.
St James Palace have revealed Kate will be coming to Liverpool on February 14.
The Duchess will also visit Ronald McDonald House on the Alder Hey site, and the Brink – an alcohol-free bar in the city centre.
The bar is linked to a charity Kate is a patron of, Action on Addiction.
Chief Executive at Alder Hey, Louise Shepherd, said: “We are extremely delighted that HRH Duchess of Cambridge will be making a visit to Alder Hey to meet some of our patients, families and our staff.
“This is an exciting day, not just for Alder Hey but for the city of Liverpool and we hope that people will join us in welcoming her on the day.”
