Plans for the new Royal Liverpool Hospital pass another major milestone

PLANS to rebuild the new Royal Liverpool Hospital have passed another major milestone.

The trust’s vision for future care received the full backing of the regional health authority NHS North of England.

Work on the new £425m hospital development is expected to start in summer 2013.

The next stage of the approval process is for the Department of Health and the Treasury to give the final go-ahead to the plans.

Management will then announce who will build it.
