THE Liverpool Bandstand is returning this Christmas.
The pop-up feature will be the feature attraction of a continental Christmas village in Williamson Square.
Funded by City Central BID, it will provide live, festive entertainment from Thursday, November 22, until December 22.
Open Culture are programming the bandstand from Thursdays to Sundays and have already signed up several acts including the 80-strong Liverpool Community Choir and the Wirral Brass Band.
Acts can request a performance slot through Open Culture until November 15.
The bandstand will also be open to the general public and school choirs from Monday to Wednesday.
Charlotte Corrie, director of Open Culture, said: ‘’The pop-up bandstand transformed Williamson Square into a hive of activity and performance during the summer and we want to recreate that atmosphere.”
