CAST and crew of a new children’s drama attended a red carpet screening at Tate Liverpool yesterday.
CBBC commissioned Liverpool-based Lime Pictures to produce the three-part drama, which will transmit early next month.
The series, called Rocket’s Island, features Mark Moraghan and Debra Stephenson alongside some breakthrough talent.
Liverpool actor Mark said: “You can expect fantastic locations, a real great adventure with some colourful characters and it’s quite grown-up.”
Set in the heart of the Isle of Man, the story centres on a farm called The Knot, which plays host to a stream of complex youngsters fostered by Peter and Sarah Boulsworth, played by Anthony Flanagan and Debra Stephenson.
It focuses on their children – 11-year-old Rocket, played by Joseph Gallucci, and Alli, 14, played by Helen Smith.
Rocket’s Island is on CBBC on December 4-6 at 6.15pm.
