A VIDEO game developer spun out of Liverpool design and digital studio Milky Tea has launched its first product.
Milky Tea Play, based in the Baltic Triangle, alongside its parent, released iPhone and iPad game Roller Rally: Snake Pass last week.
Parent Milky Tea, based in the Baltic Triangle, had already produced games and interactive content for clients including the BBC and Fairy. In October, it announced it was launching the Play arm so it could release games under its own brand.
Roller Rally allows players to race characters including Iko Disko and Olof Blackaxe through Snake Pass, “one of the most feared and deadly skating trails in the world”.
The studio said: “The instantly distinctive characters and captivating worlds embody the charm and globally-renowned character skills Milky Tea has become synonymous with.”
Animation and 3D specialist Milky Tea is best-known for the retro-styled characters it created for Lloyds TSB’s “for the journey” adverts.
