FACT has been chosen to run a North West BFI Film Academy.
The academy is for 16 to 19 year olds who are passionate about film and will run from January to March this year, on Saturdays.
The course will cover film history and filmmaking, as well as giving participants the opportunity to work alongside people who are working in the film industry today. It is completely free.
The deadline to apply has been extended to January 11.
