ACC Liverpool is searching for a naming rights sponsor for the new £40m Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
The proposed development will more than double the existing exhibition space at ACC Liverpool to 15,225 sq m, along with a combined hotel.
It will be used to stage trade and consumer exhibitions, large national and international conferences with attached exhibitions, banquets and concerts with standing for 10,000.
The naming rights would complement the existing deal with the Post’s sister paper for the Echo Arena and BT for the BT Convention Centre.
ACC has also appointed a dedicated exhibition sales manager for the Exhibition Centre
Ian Senior will be responsible for generating new business into the venue, which opens for business in 2015.
Mr Senior, 33, who started his career in Liverpool, said: “While we are successfully established in the conference and exhibition industry, Exhibition Centre Liverpool will see the venue, and the city, enter new markets which will enable us to host consumer and trade exhibitions on a larger scale than ever before.”
