MOD legends The Who will return to Liverpool for a special gig at the Echo arena.
The band will perform their 1973 double album Quadrophenia in its entirety.
Quadrophenia marked the British band’s second rock opera – after Tommy – and hit number two on the UK album chart.
The show will feature founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, joined by Zak Starkey (drums), Pino Palladino (bass), Simon Townshend (guitar/backing vocals), John Corey (keyboards), Loren Gold (keyboards/backing vocals) and Frank Simes (musical director, keyboards/backing vocals).
The band will also play Who classics.
Townshend said: “It seems that many of the first fans of the album don't want to let it go.”
The Who play the Echo arena on June 30. Tickets on sale at 9am on Friday from the Echo ticketline on 0844 800 3680.
