NEW graffiti has appeared on the streets of Liverpool, urging the killer of schoolboy Rhys Jones to give himself up – before he is killed himself.
The name of the 11-year-old’s alleged killer has appeared before, but new graffiti now warns the killer to hand himself in before his own life is taken.
The city council has removed graffiti from Norris Green and Croxteth Park, where the young Everton fan was killed over five weeks ago.
So far, 17 people have been arrested on suspicion of murder, but nobody has been charged.
Some of the graffiti has given the suspect’s mobile phone number. One resident said: “It had a message beneath it that said: ‘You are dead. We are coming to get you’.”
Yesterday, the Merseyside solicitor believed to be representing the youth told a national newspaper: “Rumours are rumours, we are interested in evidence and fact.”
