The inquest into the fatal shooting of an 11-year-old boy was adjourned today.
Rhys Jones was murdered in August while walking home from football training.
Rhys, of Croxteth Park, Liverpool, was shot through the neck by a bike-riding teenager who has not yet been caught.
His mother Melanie, 41, cradled Rhys as he died in the car park of the Fir Tree Pub where he was shot.
Despite Merseyside Police arresting 20 people in connection with the inquiry, no one has been charged with the schoolboy’s killing.
The crime was reconstructed on BBC’s Crimewatch UK in a bid to find key witnesses - one of whom, a woman driving a red car near the murder scene, has not been traced.
Today, Liverpool coroner Andre Rebello adjourned the hearing to February 13 when he will receive an update on the investigation.
