Experts also advise that you keep check of your meter readings. You may receive your bill and take it as given that that is what you owe but don’t be too sure. These companies deal with thousands of individuals. As in any business, mistakes can happen.

When you receive your bill always go and check it against your meter. If you think the figures don’t add up then you should call your provider and double check.
