HOLLYWOOD star Bradley Cooper landed the best actor prize at the Elle Style Awards – after missing out on a Bafta the previous evening.
The Silver Linings Playbook star collected the title at the Savoy Hotel in London last night as the magazine staged its annual prize bash.
Other well-known names honoured at the ceremony included Stella McCartney who took the best international designer prize.
Emeli Sande, whose album Our Version Of Events was last year’s UK biggest seller on the back of her Olympic ceremony performances, was named best music act, but was unable to attend the event.
Kick-Ass and Hugo actress Chloe Moretz, who celebrated her 16th birthday on Sunday, was named the next future icon, while hit US series Game Of Thrones was named best TV show.

Kate Hudson revealed she is getting ready to take a break to spend some time with her family.
The Reluctant Fundamentalist actress, who looked stunning in a floor-length orange gown by Stella McCartney, admitted she would be missing London Fashion Week as she is flying home to the US.
She said: “We’ve been working so much and travelling that we want to spend as much time with the kids as possible.”
Other stars at the Elle Style Awards included a heavily pregnant Peaches Geldof, former Bond girl Rosamund Pike, Bafta winner Juno Temple, Laura Carmichael from Downton Abbey and Elizabeth Olsen.
